He was born on August 16th 1966 in Prijedor where he graduated from high school of chemistry and technology.

He graduated from the Faculty of Technology, department of chemistry and technology, on May 18th, 1993. in Banja Luka. After graduation, he worked as a chemical expert at the Criminal-Technical Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka until November 20th 1997. Since then, he works at the Institute for Health Protection of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka in the service of sanitary chemistry where the quality and health safety of groceries, waters and objects for general usage on modern instrumental equipment are controlled.  

He received his master’s degree from the Faculty of Technology in Banja Luka on July 14th, 1999 with the theme: “Impact of raw water and used technological process on drinking water quality of some water supply systems in Republic of Srpska”, under the mentorship of professor doctor Borislav Jaksic.

The specialist thesis entitled “Content of certain mineral substances in fish meat and fish cans from the area of Banja Luka” and specialization in sanitary chemistry-bromatology, was completed on June 06th 2003 at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade under the mentorship of professor doctor Ivanka Miletic.

He is a subject teacher at the Higher School of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska since October 04th 2001 on the subject of Criminalistics-Technique, and was also a Senior Assistant at the Faculty of Technology in Banja Luka on the subject of Instrumental Methods of Analysis. He was appointed as a member of the Council of the Faculty of Technology in Banja Luka, and for several terms he was a member and chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Health Protection of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka. He is a permanent forensic expert of chemical industry at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Srpska and the Court of Appeal of the Brcko District.

He is a participant of a three-year international project (1998 – 2001) LIFETCY98 / BHZ / 165 Project Sustainable Rehabilitation of Urban Environmental Systems under the patronage and donation of the European Union, and was nominated in front of the Institute for Health Protection of Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka.

As a representative of BiH, he participated in an international training course entitled “Methodology for Checking and Confirming Veterinary Drugs Backlogs”, held at the laboratory of Seibersdorf, Austria from June 16th to June 27th 2003, under the patronage of FAO / IAES. He defended his doctoral dissertation entitled “Modification of Methods for Extraction and Instrumental Determination of Mycotoxins in Groceries” at the Faculty of Technology in Banja Luka on May 26th 2006 under the mentorship of professor doctor Nikola Marjanovic, full-time professor at the University in Novi Sad.

In his scientific work so far, professor doctor Radenko Djurica has been involved in a number of scientific research projects and has published a number of scientific and professional papers. He is a member of the International Association of Criminologists. On Republican elections back in 2006, he was elected as a Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, and in 2008 and 2012 as a Member of City Assembly in Banja Luka.

He was employed as Head of the Department of Social Affairs of the City of Banja Luka, and was engaged as Professor of Criminalistics-Technique and Criminalistic-Forensics at the Higher School of Internal Affairs in Banja Luka.

For many years, he is a successful athlete and wearer of black belt judo on the third day. He is married to wife Dragana and father of two sons, Danilo and Gavrilo.

He is currently working as a President of Concession Commission of the Republic of Srpska.
